New Nintendo 3DS Majora’s Mask Edition

Got home to have received this version of the New 3DS XL.

Very nice 3DS and the envy of all cats across Europe.

I changed the microSD card for a 32GB SanDisk Extreme purchased a month or so ago for it, slight pain to do, but once done, I left it to do a complete transfer overnight.

It also came with the Skull Kid statue as I purchased directly from the Nintendo.co.uk store.

Also, managed to get a boxed Wii Fit Trainer down from Amazon.

#Nintendo3DSday

Got some stuff for Nintendo 3DS day.

Was in Guernsey on the Friday when the day was, so managed to pick up a white New 3DS from Just Games over there. Also picked up a few amiibo from the days before.

I also picked up my copy of Monster Hunter Ultimate 4 from them with a £5 discount for buying both at the same time.

This morning the postman dropped off my order from Nintendo of Majora’s Mask, I’m still awaiting shipment of 2 other new 3DS units, one standard the other XL, so when those arrive I can play though those games.

Also got a Japanese import of Rosalina Amiibo, although she’s Rosetta in Japan it seems.

Loot from Nintendo World Store

While I was in New York and the Nintendo World Store, I managed to pick up what I believe is an NTSC exclusive NES themed 3DS XL

Handy as it also allows me to play any NTSC exclusives via the eShop too. I imagine this could be far harder to locate now that the New 3DS XL is just around the corner.

I also managed to pick up a copy of Pokémon Monopoly!

This appears to cover the first 150 starter Pokémon and has the Pokémon themselves as locations. Nice addition to have with the Zelda set I have.

I also managed to pick up a Link figure from Good Smile. Will likely set it up at some point alongside my other Skyward Sword Figma.

Got a few other tees and smaller stuff too, decent shop, even came with a cool bag!

Nintendo World Store

On Monday 26th of January amid a blizzard I managed to journey to the Nintendo World Store.

Loads of merch to buy, from plenty of Nintendo Series

This place was great, upstairs on the 2nd floor they had a bunch of demo units along with a Pokemon Centre

2nd Floor at Nintendo World Store

They had all sorts of recent games, from Hyrule Warriors to Sonic Boom

They also had a huge Smash Bros display alongside a handheld history showcase.

Each area of the display had individual history items for each character shown. Some very cool and very rare items.

They also had some of the rarer handheld items as well, including the Gameboy that had somewhat melted during an attack in the Gulf War, which still plays Tetris to this day

The Pokemon Centre area had a lot of plushes, t-shirts and other cool items, plus a whole stand for starter Pokemon, sadly no Charmanders!

Plenty of starter plushies

They also had plenty of large Nintendo Statues, Donkey Kong, Pikmin, Mario and others.

I also managed to get my first hands on with the New 3DS XL, they had Luigi’s Mansion on demo there, the 3D tracking was superb, works really well, looking forward to receiving mine.

They also had a lot of cool artwork up to celebrate the launch of Super Smash Bros on the Wii U (and 3DS)

Snow from 2nd floor

Sadly the snow really started to pick up, so once I had my loot I had to get out of there and hide out back at the hotel, but a great trip to the Mecca of Nintendo.
